reflect the work for which you wish to be considered. PLEASE READ THE
GUIDELINES BEFORE SUBMITTING ANY SAMPLES. Sample Panels to be Illustrated Panel 1 (Art directions are in bold.) Ellie Wyken Benet has rushed to her aunt Estelle's retirement home dismayed about her aunt's engagement to Randolph Inverness. When she meets Conner, she thinks he is Randolph. Elllie is blushing; Connor Iverness looks annoyed as he fixes her with a piercing gaze. He’s elegantly dressed in a light-colored Armani suit and wearing expensive alligator shoes. Ellie is wearing light colored dress slacks and a white, women's fitted dress shirt with three-quarter length sleeves. The location for this panel is the waiting room in the main building of an upscale retirement community.
Panel 2 Same location as previous panel. Estelle and Randolph enter arm and arm, both beaming, dressed in golf outfits. They have just completed a round of golf and have returned to the main building for lunch in the dining room. Ellie appears perplexed. Connor looks a bit surprised.
Character Descriptions Story/Character Background The characters in this story are wealthy. “Bitty”
and Randolph live in a very upscale Arizona retirement community
that could be best described as a resort. It is important that
the characters be portrayed as elegant and stylish in both appearance
and posture. The upscale nature of this story needs to jump off
the page. The main characters wear expensive, well-tailored clothes,
even when dressed for golf or other casual activities. Overall
they have a sophisticated air about them. MAIN CHARACTERS ELLIE WYKEN BENET
